Blarney Breakfast at Blind Tiger
The Blarney Breakfast is back at Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant this Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. It’s an all-you-can-eat buffet with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and even some Blind Tiger craft brews if you’re starting that early. 100% of the proceeds go to the Capper Foundation to help kids and adults with disabilities, so it’s the best way to start your St. Paddy’s Day.

The morning starts at Evergy Plaza with the annual 5K Fun Run and Walk. It kicks off at 10:00 AM, but if you get there early at 9:15, you can catch the Driscoll Irish Dancers performing on the main stage while the runners warm up.

46th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade (Downtown)
The parade is the big draw and starts at Noon sharp. The route begins at 10th and Kansas Avenue, travels north to 7th Street, and turns toward Evergy Plaza. Expect nearly 200 floats and tens of thousands of people lining the streets.

Celtic Fox Street Party
The Celtic Fox is hosting its massive outdoor bash right at 8th and Kansas. The party runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the band The BASH taking the stage right after the parade at approximately 1:00 PM. This is usually the loudest and most crowded spot downtown.

For a family-friendly Sunday, the Topeka Zoo is hosting a short “Wizard of Oz” ballet performance at 11:00 AM. It’s included with zoo admission and is a great way to get the kids out of the house.
