Topeka is revving up for a celebration of cars, community, and women’s passion for the open road as KTWU hosts its 5th Annual Women on Wheels Car Show on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The event will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Washburn University’s Parking Lot 7, located at MacVicar and 19th Street.
This unique car show is designed to spotlight women who love their vehicles—whether they’re driving vintage classics, customized trucks, motorcycles, or modern marvels. It’s a vibrant, family-friendly event that brings together car enthusiasts from across the region while raising funds for KTWU, Topeka’s public television station.
Participants can enter their vehicles in a variety of categories, including vintage, contemporary, British, motorcycles, Jeeps/trucks, modified/custom, and special interest. Awards will be presented to standout entries, and attendees can enjoy the sights and stories behind each ride.
Registration is $20 if completed before September 5 and $25 afterward. In addition to vehicle entries, KTWU is offering sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who want to support public broadcasting and community engagement. Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $1,500 and include promotional benefits such as logo placement and on-air recognition.
The Women on Wheels Car Show is more than a showcase of automotive style—it’s a celebration of women’s contributions to car culture and a chance to support educational programming in northeast Kansas.
