Teacher Appreciation Night at the Zoo

It’s an evening for teachers! 

The fourth annual Teacher Appreciation Night will take place at the Topeka Zoo on Thursday, August 10th, 2017, 5:00-7:30 PM.  The Topeka Zoo & Conservation Center will celebrate the teaching profession with free admission to the zoo for teachers and their immediate family.

Topeka, Shawnee County, and surrounding area teachers are welcome to attend this evening at the zoo to celebrate teaching.  A vendor hall with information booths from the many organizations that provide programs for field trips, a variety of on and off grounds education opportunities, citizen science opportunities, and more.

Teachers need only present a valid school district, home school or State Ed. Dept. ID card showing current status as a public, private, or home school teacher, as admission for themselves and their immediate family members for an evening at the zoo at no charge.
