Half Off Haunts!

halfoff hauntsIt’s time to get ready for Halloween and we’ve got your ticket to a spooktacular fall. Check out some of Kansas’ most terrifying and fun haunted houses.

Project Terror

Kansas City is doted as the capital of Haunted Houses, so it’s finally time that Topeka has its own! Helen Hocker Theater has accepted the challenge and Project Terror is the answer! Project Terror: a fear experiment is a haunted house experience presented by Helen Hocker Theater, located in Gage Park. The theatre has been transformed into a haunted house that will tantalize your fears, from downright scary (think Freddy Kruger) to internal fears (clowns and small spaces). All make up, costumes and sets are designed by Helen Hocker Theater staff. The experience is geared for those with a high tolerance for gore, creepy and spooky, and ages 13 and up.

Zombie Toxin Haunted House

Found in Junction City, Zombie Toxin centers on the gruesome legend of the twisted Dr. Von Monschture. Visitors tour the damp and dank laboratory where the bad doctor once worked on reanimating corpses to build an army of the undead. See if you can survive!
